Services & Packages Setup

The essential guide to filling in service categories and types so your cashier menu goes live.

Congrats! Your outlet is ready. Now, so the cashier menu can be used for transactions, you first need to fill in your Service Data.

Tip: Activating the Cashier Menu

In Pulito, you need to create at least 1 Service Category so the cashier menu can open and be ready to record transactions. Without a Category/Group, the cashier feature stays locked to protect your data.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Part 1: Creating a Service Category (Group)

Categories are used to group your price list so it stays tidy (example: WASH BY KILO, PER-ITEM, or DRY CLEAN).

  • Access the Menu: If the service list is still empty, the transaction page shows a prompt "Buat kategori + layanan pertama dulu" (Create your first category + service) that opens the Quick Start guide. You can also reach it through the Profile > Layanan, Paket & Promo > Layanan Reguler (Services, Packages & Promos > Regular Services) menu.
  • Enter the Category: Tap "Tambah Kategori Layanan" (Add Service Category).
  • Give It a Name: Enter the service group name (example: "WASH BY KILO").
  • Save: Tap "Buat Kategori Baru" (Create New Category). Once the category is created, the system automatically directs you to fill in the Service Types inside it.
Quick steps: Create a Service Category
  1. Open the Profile menu.
  2. Tap Layanan, Paket & Promo (Services, Packages & Promos) โ†’ Layanan Reguler (Regular Services).
  3. Tap + Tambah Kategori Layanan (Add Service Category).
  4. Enter the category name (example: "Wash by Kilo").
  5. Tap Buat Kategori Baru (Create New Category).

๐Ÿงบ Part 2: Adding Service Types & Prices

After the category is created, you can now enter the details of the products or services you sell.

  • Add a Service: Inside the category you created, tap the "Tambah Jenis Layanan" (Add Service Type) button.
  • Service Details & Values:
    • Name: Example: "Regular Wash & Iron". This name will appear on the customer's receipt.
    • Unit: Choose KG, Pcs, or Meter. You can also choose "Lainnya" (Other) to type your own unit (example: Pair, Set, Helmet).
    • Price: Enter the rate per 1 unit. The price can be 0 if it is a free add-on service.
    • Decimal: Enable "Pembelian desimal" (Decimal purchase) if the service uses a scale (example: 1.5 KG). Turn it off if the service is by whole units (example: 1 Pcs).
    • Min. Purchase: The minimum order amount before the cashier system starts counting (example: enter 3 if the minimum wash-by-kilo is 3kg).
    • Estimate: Enter the processing duration (example: 2 Days or 5 Hours) so the completion date is printed automatically on the receipt.
    • Supporting Items: Optional add-ons (such as perfume) that can be linked to this service. Usage details are in Part 4.
    • Notes: Enter special instructions (SOP) for the employee that will appear while serving this service type.
  • Save: Tap Save. This service now appears in the cashier menu and is ready to be transacted!
Quick steps: Add a Service Type & Price
  1. Inside the category you created, tap + Tambah Jenis Layanan (Add Service Type).
  2. Fill in the Service Name (example: "Regular Wash").
  3. Choose a Unit: Kg, Pcs, Meter, or Other.
  4. Fill in the Price per unit and Min. Purchase.
  5. Fill in the Processing Estimate (example: 2 Days).
  6. Tap Simpan Layanan (Save Service).

๐Ÿ“ฆ Part 3: Setting Up Laundry Packages (Member/Deposit)

Use this feature if your outlet has a volume-deposit system (example: a customer pays upfront for 50kg to get a better price).

  • Pick the Parent Service: Every package must be linked to one Regular Service Type as its parent so the system knows which service the package is used for.
  • Pricing Scheme: Enter the package price and the total quota (volume) the customer receives.
  • Active Period & Accumulation: Choose Forever or a Duration. If limited, you can set the accumulation logic:
    • Active-Period Accumulation: This option is used if the customer wants to top up quota while their old package is STILL ACTIVE.
      • ON: The old remaining days are added to the new duration.
      • OFF: The old remaining days are forfeited, and the active period resets to the new duration.
    • Quota Accumulation: This option is used if the customer wants to top up when their package has already EXPIRED.
      • ON: The old remaining balance is preserved or merged into the new balance.
      • OFF: The old remaining balance is permanently forfeited; only the new balance applies.
Quick steps: Create a Member Package
  1. Open the Profile menu โ†’ Layanan, Paket & Promo (Services, Packages & Promos) โ†’ Paket Member (Member Packages).
  2. Tap + Buat Paket Baru (Create New Package).
  3. Fill in the Package Name and choose the parent Service from the dropdown.
  4. Fill in the Price Tier & Quota (package price and total volume).
  5. Choose the Validity: Forever or a Duration (days).
  6. Tap Simpan Paket (Save Package).

๐Ÿ‘ƒ Part 4: Adding Supporting Item Options

This feature makes it easy for the cashier to record special customer requests (such as a perfume choice or packing) without changing the service price.

Supporting Item Rules:

  • System Default: Each time you create a new outlet, Pulito automatically creates one default supporting item: "Parfume" with the "Fresh" scent option.
  • How It's Used: It is not mandatory for all services. However, if you want to use it, you must link the supporting item to the relevant Regular Service Type.
  • Function: Used to record extra customer options without changing the price, such as a perfume choice, packing type, or detergent type.
  • Inheritance: Every Laundry Package automatically uses the same Supporting Item rules as its parent service.

๐Ÿ’ก Setup Tips

  • Creation Order: Make sure you finish creating the Group first, then the Service Types, and only then the Member Package so setup runs smoothly.
  • Validation: As long as no Group has been created, the system keeps directing you to this initial setup guide page to keep your future transactions running smoothly.
